  1. I don't plan enough for the holiday, and we always end up with too much of everything- from food to gifts. Planning would save me time and money!

    1. I feel the same way. I am making a conscience effort to do better planning this year, especially with family coming in from out of town! I plan on purchasing this planner, too, for myself!

  2. I usually make thousands of lists, but by the time I am ready to check it off, I have lost the list! First item on new list, find last list :)

  3. Ha, Liz, that is what happens with my mother every year! Also she does that with presents, too. She hides them and then literally forgets where she put them!! (sorry mom, I am throwing you under the bus!!)

  6. I love my planner and must admit that I own about 4 calendars and update all of them...I just like to write things down a lot! Haha Maybe I just need a better planner! :) Also, I always make my menus for Thanksgiving and Christmas in October to catch all of the early sales! :) There are so many items you can buy early that aren't perishable! :)

    1. Julie- that is awesome you are getting the best deals now regarding your menu for the holidays! I am in transition with my planner, just purchased a new one. So as of now, I feel like I have a dozen planners floating around my house, Still trying to decide on complete paper or complete digital, or somewhere in-between!

  7. Lists, I love lists! The past few years I've gone the crazy route and have gotten most of the gifts on Black Friday. I've totally lucked out. I REALLY try to get some things early, like now or beforehand, but I can never make up my mind and last year I got some things too early and hid them too well cause I found them about April this year when I cleaned out a closet. ;-)

    1. Michelle- so you are ALL set for Christmas gifts this year....with the presents you just found in April ;-) I am definitely buying all the children's presents now, especially since P has a birthday on December 19th, you have one of those, too?
